Learn what's current with our Middle and High School Students

The heart behind Student Ministry is to see students grow to Love God, Love People, and Serve Our World. With that in mind, nothing we do in our ministry is random. Our weekly events & programming, retreats, mission trips and more are built with purpose. The layout below is designed to walk you through engagement steps that will meet your son/daughter right where they're at. For more information on each step, check out our quick start guides above.

Each week during the school year, students gather to hang out, make new friends, play totally ridiculous games, learn from caring adult leaders, build deeper friendships, and hear an engaging, life-changing message about Jesus, the Bible, and faith. We will post opportunities to engage in this first step here as they come up.

After students have become a part of our gather process, we want to begin to grow them through this equipping step.  Learning what it means to be a disciple of Jesus, how to study the Bible, how to live out my faith, and live a life of prayer is all apart of this step.

A56 - This class happens at that 11:30 hour and is open to all 5th and 6th grade students. The group looks at basic biblical concepts in a class and discussion setting.

CJV - Our NEW Deep End model will give students a chance to be a part of intentional discipleship.  Though enrollment is open, students must sign up by clicking here

FUSION - Our intentional leadership and discipleship program is already in full swing for the SPRING session. Sign ups go live the first week of August.

After jumping into gathering and growing, a student's next step is to serve and lead. Whether that's joining Black Rock's serving culture on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights (for High School Students), or joining Student Leadership, there are many ways that students can begin to live out their faith at Black Rock.

Lead Week - Aug 18-22 - is for incoming 9th-12th grade students who are desiring to be servant leaders within Fusion for the 2019-2020 school year. We want servant leaders to live out Philippians 2.

Please read that chapter before signing up.
